Vaishno Devi Temple Jammu Darshan

Shri Vaishno Devi Temple is one of the most known and spiritual Pilgrim Place. It is the second most visited Temple in the Country. The Shrine is located in Katra, Jammu and Kashmir. This Temple is also known as Bhawan and it is dedicated to Goddess Shakti, also called Mata Rani, Vaishnavi, and Durga.

The Temple is at distance of 13.5 Km from Katra. It is located Trikuta Mountain. You have to do climbing to get to the Bhawan. If you cant trek there are various transport facilities like Palkis and Ponies. There is also Helicopter Facilities. This Shrine is a Holy Cave. There is the revelation of the Mother Goddess in the Holy Cave which is in a natural rock form, which is one at the base but has three heads at the top.

These Three heads are known as Holy Pindies and they are worshiped as the Goddess’s revelation. The main Darshan are of Holy Pindies.

Darshan Timings

Except for the Arti Timings that is before the sunrise and after Sunset), Darshan is allowed all days of the week. Timings are 5:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

Pooja Timings

Individual Pooja

It is done at “Yagyashaala” before 8:00 AM and in Room no. 8.

Shraddha Suman Vishesh Pooja

It is done in the front of the Old Cage of Mata Darbar before 8:00 AM and in Room no.8.
