Lord Shiva who is also known as Rudra is the destroyer of evil. Lord Shiva has control over the positions all the nine planets affecting Human life. He is the third god in Hindu Tridev. It is also believed that Lord Shiva holds the Keys to Kuber’s wealth. So it is very helpful to have the blessings of Lord Shiva. During the pooja, Lord Shiva is offer Panchamrit, which is made up of Five ( Panch) elements namely Milk, Honey, Ghee, Curd, and Sugar. During this pooja, various names of Lord Shiva are recited. This is known to be Shri Rudram. Ekadash Rudram is the set of eleven recitations of Shri Rudram and one Recitation of Chamakam.

Bhimashankar is the ancient Temple of Lord Shiva, which is one of the 12 Jyotirlingas Temples around the Country. So it is believed that getting Darshan here will ensure Divine grace and blessings of Lord Shiva. So thousands of people visit here daily.

In Bhimashankar, pooja is performed all day. Morning hours of pooja are 5:30 AM -12:00 PM. And afternoon hours are 12:30 PM Р4:00 PM.

Bhimashankar Rudrabhishek Ticket Price Booking

Tickets for attending Rudrabhishek is around Rs 110. At one Ticket, only one person is allowed to attend Pooja. Duration of the Pooja is 45 minutes. Abhishek is performed daily in the Temple during opening hours. There is no availability for Advance booking or Online booking. You have to purchase Ticket at the Counter on arrival.
