Best time to visit Vaishno Devi Temple Jammu

In the time of festivals in the period of Sharad (Autumn), the  Chaitra (Spring) and the festival of Navratras and New Year, there is a huge rush in the Holy Cave. As a result, for a good, comfortable and satisfying visit, you should not visit in the peak seasons.

Summer and autumn season are best for an ideal visit, as the climate is cool and pleasant in those seasons. Although the days are quite hot, yet the mood and feel of the climate in the evenings make summers a better option for you to have a visit.

Unless and until you’re physically fit and a snow enthusiast, winters are not the best season for your visit. The post-monsoon months of September and October are also considered as a good time to visit.
