The Statue of Unity is a tribute to India’s first deputy Prime Minister Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. A large number of tourists have been coming to catch a glimpse of the world’s tallest statue ever since it has inaugurated.

As per details available, the helicopter ride at the Statue of Unity is for about 10 minutes and it will cost Rs 2,900 per person. The service was inaugurated on Sunday.

Using the helicopter ride, the tourists can not just get to see a panoramic view of the Statue of Unity but also get the view of Sardar Sarovar Dam, Narmada river, and the Satpura and Vindhya hills. It was reported that more than 1 lakh tourists came to see the statue in the first few days after its inauguration. Meanwhile, a ferry service is already in place to avoid pollution and vehicular traffic. The statue and its surrounding areas are accessed through special boats.

A new 10-minute helicopter ride was launched at the giant statue. This statue is double the size of the Statue of Liberty. 59 visitors and 6 media persons have used the service when it was launched before the use of normal people. A 10-minute ride costs Rs. 2,900.

The Statue of Unity is Billed as the tallest in the world. It was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on October 31.

The Statue is attracting a large number of tourists everyday.
