Somnath Temple is one of the most popular Jyotirlinga Temple which is dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is located near Veraval in Gujarat’s Saurashtra region. This historical and holy temple of Gujarat has a very long history. It has been destroyed several times by attackers and plunderers who were lured by the riches at the ancient Somnath temple but the good thing is that it was re-built again and again post destruction. If you want to have Darshan at Somnath Temple, you should have proper information about the timings of the Temple. The Temple opens at 6:00 AM and closes at 9:00 PM. The timings for Aarti are 7:00 AM, 12:00 PM and 7:00 PM. There is also a show that happens in the Temple which is “Jay Somnath Sound and Light Show”. It is of 1 hour, starts at 8:00 PM and ends at 9:00 PM.
